A medley of films


What: The fifth edition of the Urban Lens Film Festival is back with fiction, non-fiction, animation and experimental films from different parts of the world, made over the last sixty years. The festival hopes to advance the diverse discourses around film practices and its intrinsic relationship to the city. Post-screening discussions with the director will provide an interaction space for the audience, bringing in a multiplicity of perspectives. There will also be a masterclass on the role, position, and trajectories of different cities in films and an in-depth conversation with a film practitioner.
When: November 16 – 18 (10:30 am – 6:30 pm)

An artistic exchange


What: Here’s an exhibition of paintings, drawings and sculptures that will bring together four international women artists from different parts of the world, including Guadalupe Romero Silva from Honduras, Ipek Denzli Karagoz from Cyprus, Eleni Tsiapara from Greece and Mili Montiel from Venezuela, to showcase their work at the exhibition. With the aim to facilitate respect for differences by sharing ideas, the exhibition seeks to bring different cultures of the world on the same platform.
