Recreating Ramlila


What: This Dussehra, Aryan Heritage Foundation brings to you a Broadway style Ramlila called Sampurn Ramayana — in 3 hours. The grand celebration includes modern music, sound, choreography, lighting and stage design, presenting a unique exuberance of mythology in a contemporary context. The title track of the show is sung by Udit Narayan and Ravan’s introduction is sung by Kailash Kher. Multi-layer LED screens give depth to the scenes and a 3D effect to all visuals.

Nature scape


What: Inspired by Nature’s grandeur, artist Rajesh Sharma has created a series of paintings put together in the exhibition Rockscape. Sharma travelled to Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Kashmir, Scotland, Kerala and Rajasthan, and documented the sea, sky and land in different seasons in his paintings. The works on display are a reflection of these experiences, presenting Nature in all its splendour.

Going Nature

What: For health-conscious, organic product lovers in the city, the fifth edition of the Women of India Organic Festival is back along with The Vegan Project and food court with cooked-on-site delicacies. The festival will have producers and manufacturers of organic products from all over India. Over 500 women entrepreneurs — from Leh to Kanyakumari — will come together with their organic products, which include more than 1,200 varieties of rice, cereals, spices, chilli chocolates, pickles, jams, dry fruits, organic ice creams, tea, coffee, mushrooms, cosmetics, linen fabrics, seeds jewellery, fruit wines, handmade paper produced from cow, rhino and elephant dung and much more.

Inspiring melodies

What: For music lovers in the city, here’s Ragaaz Music Academy and Studio, an initiative to encourage music for all ages. There will be music classes, studio services, community activities and performances, following their motto – For the love of music’. Activities like free Saturday jamming sessions, music workshops and video covers offer opportunities to showcase your talent. Innovative corporate music workshops will be conducted on Friday to promote music among those working in the corporate sector. The launch will see exciting performances by artists like Promila Pradhan, Akshay Oberoi, Chadrakant from Lucky Strings and more.

Twisted endings


What: A wealthy middle-aged man learns that his young wife, impatient for his money, has hired a contract killer. The rich man obligingly fixes drinks for his guest (the killer) and himself, then sits across from the killer. Puzzled by his action at first, the killer soon is at ease with the old man. Things take a turn when each of them reveals their own gameplan. Is it a bluff? Who is playing with whom? To know more, watch Shatterproof, a thriller play with a touch of black humour.
