If you are looking for some quality time together, with your special partner or family and friends, this is the right destination

TUCKED IN Civil Lines in North Delhi, with communal tables, a variety of settings and an ambience best suited for all generations to enjoy together, it is a perfect choice for creating memorable moments. Everything here speaks of romance, exotic food, handcrafted drinks and impeccable service.

Well, that was the vision of the owner, Saurabh Luthra, who says, “Romeo Lane exudes romantic vibes. We have designed the place keeping in mind the beautiful synergy between all generations. The space has everything from communal tables to private seating, to spaces for the family with an ambience best suited for all generations to coexist.” The classy, cool and uber interiors are a match with the delectable food and upbeat handcrafted drinks on the menu. Dark wood furniture complements the cheerful bright toned furnishings. The mood is further enhanced with pretty Cabanas with curved LED displays.

The menu is an amalgamation of several cuisines depicting the culinary tours of the team here. It is a diverse combination of rich flavours and textures from different regions including home-made recipes. Thus, you have an interesting variety of pizzas, pastas, Bruschetta and salads; along with Indian, Asian, Chinese and Italian cuisines..

Try The French Kiss – toasted open English muffin topped with poached eggs, served with Hollandaise sauce. The dish can be enjoyed as a Royal Benedict, or upgraded with Florentine Smoked Salmon and Grilled Ham Spinach.

Cleopatra and Mark’s Pyramid is quite a rage here – it’s a Mediterranean indulgence served as a platter with Chicken Shish Taouk, soft Green Pea Falafel, gooey Cheese Sambousec crisped on the outside along with carrot hummus, kalonji labneh, walnut moutabel  and tzatziki and fresh pita on the side. Chicken lovers can feast on ‘Meat Lovers Pizza’ – a thin crust pizza, freshly rolled with chicken tikka toppings along with buffalo chicken or Turkish chicken topped with assorted veggies and fresh mozzarella. ‘Kochi Prawns and Coconut Curry’ –a south Indian delicacy tempered with southern spiced masalas is a showstopper of the menu. With the fresh catch of prawns, the rich coconut curry is robust with fresh spices. ‘Butter Chicken Pao Bhaji’ is Romeo Lane’s version of Pao Bhaji served as a butter chicken fondue with crunchy buttery Pao croutons.

The names of dishes remind you of being at Romeo Lane time and again. For example, there is Shah Jahan and Mumtaz ka Taj Mahal dish,  a delicious meal platter with Himalayan Guchhi Ki Tehari, Kurkuri Raita, and Naan stuffed with Jalapeno, Signature Dal Makhni shot & House Salad.

Relish the ‘Cottage Cheese Steak’ as it oozes creamy mushroom butter sauce, stuffed and rolled into a ratatouille.

Home Made Ravioli makes for a lip-smacking savoury dish, stuffed with spinach corn and feta or mushroom and ricotta, served with options like cheese alfredo, tomato basil and pumpkin seed pesto. Barbeque Cottage Cheese and Grilled Asparagus, a thin crust Italian delicacy with oriental delicacies, this signature pizza at Romeo Lane comes loaded with spicy and flavourful BBQ Cottage cheese chunks along with the goodness and crunch of asparagus.  Do not miss the chef’s signature Dimsums – soft and tiny translucent parcels of goodness with a variety of stuffing like wild mushroom or the Bok Choy – mix veg coriander served with dips like black bean sauce, smoked pepper, tomato, Thai chilli, soya dip and sweet chilli.

Round off your meal with signature desserts like coconut and Jaggery Crème Brule, Macerated Berries  a rich flavoured crème Brule cooked in coconut milk and sugared with jaggery. Choco Fudge Caramel Brownie with White Chocolate Wasabi Mousse Rosette –  a rich chocolaty fudge brownie with caramel indulgence, comes with a white chocolate mousse flavoured with wasabi for the kick.

Drinks at Romeo Lane spell aroma and magic stirred up with your favourite liquor from around the world. There is Juliet Desire — a whiskey-based cocktail stirred with cinnamon cordial, apple juice, lime and cherry. Mocha 19 Nineties is very   popular made with dark rum with orange bitter shot of espresso, maple syrup along with chocolate sauce and kit Kat.
