This clip is being shared over the last 24 hours, with captions mocking the party. The video is being widely shared on social media and Whatsapp with the caption: “BJP vs BJP fighting with chappals. Uneducated idiots cannot discuss at the meeting and want to rule!!!”

What was shown: A post has been shared multiple times on Facebook that claims a doctor in Purnea, a district in the east India state of Bihar, has identified a novel coronovirus patient. This claim is false; the local health authority said that there are no confirmed novel coronovirus patients in the area as of February 14, 2020.The doctor named in the misleading Facebook post also called the claim “baseless and false.” This Facebook post was published on Facebook on February 7, 2020. During a phone conversation with AFP on February 14, 2020, Dr. Ragini Mishra, the State Survielliance Officer at Bihar Government’s State health Society, confirmed there had been no novel coronovirus patients in the state. “We’re taking strict measures as directed by the central governmenrt and fortunately have not come across any such cases in the state,” she said.
What was Shown: Many social media users took to Twitter to claim that one of the students being lathicharged in a recently leaked footage from the Jamia Milia Islamia library is the same man who was seen torching a bike in a CCTV footage on December 15, 2019, in the New Friend’s Colony in Delhi, based on the assumption that their clothes are the same. This assumption is factully incorrect; Sources compered the two footage and found the clothes of the individual to be visually distinctive. On February 16, 2020, the CCTV footage from the Jamia library was leaked on Twitter by an unofficial Jamis handle. The caption read: “Watch this and realise what kind of trauma and brutallity #JamiaMiliaIslamia students faced on the hands of @DelhiPolice. Students studying in library are being attacked and brutalised for no fault of theirs. #Jamiaprotesters.” Sources found that the rioter’s clothes did not match the ones being worn by lathicharged Jamia Milia Islamia student.
What was shown: A video of an eviction drive from Odisha is being falsely shared as street side hawkers in Gujrat being evicted in preparation for the visit of US President Donald Trump’s visit to the state on February 24. The video follows an excavator demolishing fruits and carts as officials oversee the whole process. Many carts are than wheeled towards the excavator which goes onto crush them turn by turn. The video is being shared with the caption, “Don’t the poor have the right to live in this country under @narendramodi (Narendra Modi) ?? Look how #Ahmedabad is getting ready to welcome @realDonaldTrump ( Donald trump) @vijayrupanibjp is part of #GujaratModel?”. Sources found that the video is not connected to Donald Trumps visit .
