What: While the pride month is over, the movement for equal rights is still on. To mark solidarity with the LGBTQ+ communities across the globe, Instituto Cervantes, and film distributor Marvin & Wayne, present ‘I'm loving you madly’. The month-long screening has eight short films featuring personal stories, reflections, testimonies and portraits that direct our gaze towards underrepresented realities in cinema.

Thrilling suspense

What: For all the film fanatics, IIC is screening Carol Reed’s Night Train to Munich – a twisting, turning, cloak-and-dagger delight, combining comedy, romance, and thrills with the greatest of ease. Paced like an out-of-control locomotive, Night Train takes viewers on a journey from Prague to England to the Swiss Alps as Nazis pursue a Czech scientist and his daughter (Margaret Lockwood), who are being aided by a debonair British undercover agent, played by Rex Harrison. This captivating, long-overlooked adventure is a deftly concocted spy game that could give Alfred Hitchcock, the Master of Suspense a run for his
money.
