Dining perks for voters in Delhi

To encourage voters to exercise their universal suffrage in the Lok Sabha elections in Delhi, scheduled on May 25, hotel associations and electoral authorities have come together to announce discounts at a select few places on the day of poll.

The initiative aims to promote civic engagement by offering citizens meals and luxurious stays at reduced rates.

Here are five places with such offers:

1. Old Delhi

Deepak Mehta, the president of the Old Delhi Hotel Association, has announced that hotels nestled around iconic landmarks such as Jama Masjid, Chandni Chowk, and Delhi Gate will be extending exclusive discounts of up to 25% to voters on May 25 and 26. One can Visit Karim Hotel and Al Jawahar hotel At Jama Masjid, Kake Di Hatti at Chandni Chowk, stay in Hotel Tara Palace Redfort and enjoy a meal at Al Yamin Hotel at Daryaganj.

2. Karol Bagh

Voters in Karol Bagh, upon displaying their ink-marked fingers, can enjoy a generous 20% discount in hotels and restaurant. Abhishek Mishra, Deputy Commissioner of Karol Bagh zone, emphasised the importance of democratic participation. One can visit Jade Garden for chinese and Thai, Glenz Cafe & Bakers for European food, The Art Of Dumpling for sushi and Japenese and stay at The Suncourt Hotel and Hotel Red Castle.

3. Najafgarh

In Najafgarh, a similar initiative is underway to motivate citizens to exercise their democratic right. Voters, who book accommodations in hotels affiliated with the Lodging House Owners’ Association, will receive an exclusive 20% discount. Similarly, establishments associated with the Delhi Hotel and Restaurant Owners’ Association will extend this offer. Here, voters can visit Chinjabi Kingdom, Zoca Courtyard, Ce La Vie to eat and book flagship Royal mini Guest House and the grand Parision

4. Paharganj

One can also benefit from an additional 20% discount on bookings in hotels and guesthouses, thanks to the Delhi Hotel Association. People can book Hotel City Empire & Hindustan by Backpackers Heaven and eat at Everest rooftop cafe and restaurant, Sikkim Kitchen, Sita Ram Diwan Chand and more

5. Dwarka

One of the most prominent hotels of Dwarka Radisson Blu Hotel, has announced exclusive discounts for voters during the polling day for seven Lok Sabha seats in the national capital on May 25. Eligible voters can enjoy a remarkable 50% discount on lunch buffet and a generous 30% discount on dinner buffet, further enhancing the appeal of participating in the democratic process.
