
A 32-year-old burglar and his two associates have been arrested for allegedly stealing and concealing LPG cylinders in southwest Delhi, an official said on Sunday.
Police recovered 10 stolen cylinders and a scooter used in the crime.
The prime accused, identified as Deepak alias Deepu, was apprehended near Dabri Gol Chakkar on June 24 after analysis of CCTV footage. Two stolen LPG cylinders and the scooter used to commit the thefts were recovered from his possession.
During interrogation, Deepak allegedly disclosed the identities of two associates who had received and hidden the stolen cylinders. Acting on the information, police arrested Mahavir, (55), and recovered six stolen LPG cylinders from his possession.
Another accused, Rinku Kumar Singh (53), was later arrested from Nihal Vihar, leading to the recovery of two more stolen cylinders.

Police said Deepak allegedly took to stealing LPG cylinders to make quick money by selling them in the grey market.
