A 30-year-old woman was found dead, while another was found injured in northwest Delhi’s Adarsh Nagar, police said on Friday.
The incident came to light around 9.30 PM on Thursday.
The deceased was later identified as Nirmala. Another woman, identified as Firozi (30), also a resident of Khajuri Khas, was found injured at the spot. Firozi was rushed to a hospital, a senior police officer said.
Police said three suspects have been apprehended and are being interrogated.

The motive behind the attack is yet to be ascertained and further investigation is underway.
In a separate incident, a 17-year-old boy allegedly stabbed a 27-year-old man to death outside his home in outer Delhi’s Ranhola area after being confronted for harassing a girl, police said on Thursday.
The incident took place around 8.30 pm on Wednesday in Vikas Kunj when the juvenile, a vegetable seller, allegedly attacked the victim, identified as Hoti Lal, after a heated argument. Police have apprehended the boy and two of his associates.
According to investigators, the juvenile had been stalking the girl, his neighbour’s niece, for the past two months despite a prior police complaint and a written undertaking not to approach her. On Wednesday, when the girl’s mother confronted him for loitering near their house, the accused allegedly misbehaved with her.
“When the woman’s brother-in-law intervened, the boy attacked him in a fit of rage, stabbing him in the chest,” an officer said. Neighbours rushed the victim to a nearby hospital, where he was declared dead.
Police said preliminary findings suggest the attack was an act of revenge after the earlier complaint against the accused. Further investigation is in progress in both cases.
