Following the tragic shooting incident that occurred inside a salon in Delhi’s Najafgarh, the police have now identified both perpetrators allegedly involved in a dispute over a social media post, according to official sources.

The two assailants have been named as Sanjeev Dahiya, also known as Sanju, and Harsh, alias Chintu, who fatally shot Ashish and Sonu at Najafgarh’s Indira Park on Friday. The victims, innocently at the salon for a haircut, fell victim to the senseless violence.

Circulating purported CCTV footage further exposes the brutality of the attack, depicting one of the victims pleading with the attackers moments before being fatally shot at close range. Shockingly, the footage also captures two female salon staff members fleeing in terror.

Authorities initially suspect personal enmity as the motive, stemming from an inflammatory social media post. However, the precise cause behind this tragic incident remains to be confirmed until the perpetrators are apprehended, stated a police official.

Sources reveal that Sanjeev Dahiya is purportedly a practicing lawyer in a Delhi court, though this information is yet to be verified. Meanwhile, Harsh, also known as Chintu, is identified as the sibling of imprisoned gangster Yogesh Tunda and was recently granted bail.

In response to the incident, multiple teams comprising local police and the crime branch have been mobilized to track down the suspects.

Deputy Commissioner of Police (Dwarka) Ankit Singh assured that law enforcement teams are actively pursuing the accused and expressed confidence that clarity would emerge once they are apprehended.
