In a ghastly incident, a 13-year-old domestic helper was allegedly physically assaulted and tortured, which include a dog attack as well as stripping her naked, by the family she served in Gurugram’s Sector 57 area, as reported by the police on Saturday.

The complaint, lodged by the girl’s mother, details harrowing abuse by the lady of the house, who purportedly used an iron rod and hammer to beat the victim.

The two sons of the family allegedly forced her to strip, filmed her naked, and engaged in inappropriate touching.

The victim, held captive with her mouth taped, was rescued by her mother and employer, revealing a horrifying tale of captivity, starvation, and threats.

The FIR filed at Sector 51 Women Police Station outlines instances of acid being poured on the victim’s hands, accompanied by threats of harm if she disclosed the abuse.

The victim’s mother, a Bihar native, secured the job for her daughter on June 27, and the family initially offered accommodation and a monthly salary of Rs 9,000.

The ordeal came to light when the victim’s mother, aided by her employer, filed a complaint, resulting in charges against the accused under various sections, including cruelty, causing hurt, outraging modesty, and criminal intimidation, along with sections under the POCSO Act and Juvenile Justice Act.
