A 28-year-old man was found hanging in a guest house in Kalkaji area of southeast Delhi following a dispute with a woman he had checked in, police sources said on Thursday.
Sources said the man allegedly took the extreme step after pushing the woman during the altercation, causing her to fall unconscious as both were believed to be drunk. Believing she had died, he is suspected to have hanged himself in the room.
“In the evening, when the woman regained consciousness, she found him hanging and raised an alarm, following which the guest house staff informed the police,” the source added.
