A 20-year-old man lost his life due to stabbing in east Delhi’s Trilokpuri area on Saturday, police said.
A PCR call alerted the authorities about the incident, where the caller stated that his brother was stabbed by Babu, officials confirmed.
Upon reaching LBS Hospital, the police found Tushar, a Trilokpuri resident, admitted. His younger brother, Sameer (13), recounted that Aman and Babu had attacked Tushar in front of their residence, revealed a senior police officer.
Sameer acted swiftly by contacting the police and rushing his injured brother to LBS hospital. Subsequently, Tushar was transferred to Safdarjung Hospital for treatment. Unfortunately, despite medical efforts, Tushar passed away during treatment, the officer confirmed.
The police have filed a case under section 302 (murder) and 34 (common intention) of the IPC at Kalyanpuri police station, the officer mentioned.
The authorities have apprehended the two accused individuals. They disclosed that an ongoing dispute led to the fatal altercation. Further investigations are underway, added the police. (With inputs from PTI)
