
Delhi: Customs officials at Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport have seized 2.043 kg of suspected ganja worth around Rs 71.50 lakh from an Indian passenger arriving from Bangkok, officials said on Thursday.
Based on profiling, Customs officers intercepted the passenger on October 2 after he arrived at Terminal-3 and was diverted to the Green Channel for examination, an official statement said.

Examination of his grey trolley bag led to the recovery of two polythene pouches containing suspected ganja/marijuana weighing 2,043 grams, the statement said.
The passenger was arrested under Section 43(B) of the NDPS Act, 1985, while the suspected contraband was seized under Section 43(A) of the Act.
