A 14-year-old boy was apprehended on Monday morning for allegedly fatally stabbing a teenager in north Delhi’s Sabzi Mandi area, police said.

Bara Hindu Rao Hospital had alerted the police on Sunday night, stating that 16-year-old Arun had been admitted with a stab wound in his abdomen. Tragically, Arun passed away during treatment early on Monday.

According to the police, Arun and the accused had a dispute two days prior over a minor issue. In an act of revenge, the accused allegedly stabbed Arun on Sunday.

The police have arrested the accused, who reportedly admitted to nursing a grudge against Arun after being assaulted by him in the past, and had been waiting for an opportunity to settle the score. (With inputs from PTI)
