The Delhi Traffic Police issued 634 challans for improper parking and removed 192 roadside carts and stalls during a joint encroachment-removal drive in the Northern Range here, an official said on Tuesday.
Police conducted the drive with the Municipal Corporation of Delhi on Monday, focusing on removing roadside encroachments, regulating improper parking, and ensuring smooth traffic flow on major roads in North area of the national capital.

“During the drive, police removed 37 encroachments, while towing away 24 vehicles and impounding five others. MCD staff also seized articles used for unauthorised roadside occupation, including eight carts, three display boards, three tables and three counters,” the officer said.
