Youth stabbed to death in Delhi

A 21-year-old youth lost his life after being fatally stabbed by two individuals in the Nangloi area of west Delhi, police said.

According to police, the victim, identified as Anash, was sitting in an e-rickshaw belonging to his cousin Naim at the time of the incident.

The attackers identified as Sameer Qureshi and Sameer Ansari, approached the e-rickshaw and engaged in a heated argument regarding who would ride in it, they said.

They added that as the quarrel intensified, the two assailants physically restrained Anash, and Qureshi resorted to stabbing him.

After committing the crime, both Qureshi and Ansari fled the scene, they further added.

According to plice after receiving the report they  registered a case related to the incident and investigation was launched, leading to the successful apprehension of the duo on Thursday. (With inputs from PTI)
