10 dishes at Savorworks’ new Gurugram outlet that go beyond usual café menu

A new entrant, Savorworks, has joined Gurugram’s dining  scene, refusing to be boxed into the idea of a  conventional café. Savorworks, known for its  artisanal approach to coffee and chocolate,  has expanded into the city with a format that  feels more like an experience than a pitstop.  Located in Gurugram.

The artisanal cafe debuts in  Gurugram with a dynamic menu of 70-plus  offerings, blending global flavours, inventive  beverages, and a seamless transition into a  specialty cocktail experience.

The menu offers coffee, chocolate, food, and  beverages, which is designed to encourage  discovery. From globally inspired plates to  inventive beverages, here are 10 must-try  dishes that define the Savorworks experience:

Medallions Tenderloin

For those who enjoy a hearty, indulgent meal, the medallions tenderloin stands out. The buffalo tenderloin steak is grilled and sliced, served alongside slightly spicy wasabi mashed potatoes and sautéed bok choy. The dish is tied together with a rich, savoury sauce that balances the meat’s robustness with subtle heat.

Khao Kang

Bringing a slice of Bangkok’s street food culture to Gurugram, Khao Kang is comfort food done right. The dish features a flavourful curry served over steamed jasmine rice, accompanied by a Thai chilli condiment. Diners can choose between green curry and the slightly sweeter, nutty Massaman curry—both equally satisfying.

Carbonara Spaghetti

A classic that rarely goes out of style, the carbonara here leans into richness. Creamy spaghetti is combined with Parmesan cheese, eggs, and pork bacon, finished with fresh parsley. It’s simple, indulgent, and hits all the right notes for lovers of Italian comfort food.

Chocolate Herbs Grilled Chicken

Savorworks’ expertise with cacao finds its way into savoury dishes as well. This grilled chicken is marinated in cacao husk and herbs, lending it a unique depth of flavour. Served with sautéed spinach and a signature spicy sauce, the dish strikes a balance between experimental and familiar.

Bubbling Prawn

Seafood lovers will find plenty to appreciate in the bubbling prawn. Succulent prawns are sautéed with cherry tomatoes, garlic, and olive oil, and served over garlic gnocchi. Fresh basil adds a finishing touch, making it a well-rounded, flavourful plate.

Ban Nok Scrambled Eggs

Inspired by Thai home-style cooking, these soft scrambled eggs are packed with freshly picked herbs and bamboo shoots. Served with brown bread, the dish feels both rustic and refreshing. For those who like a kick, an extra serving of chilli can elevate the flavours further.

Benedicts (Three Ways)

The café offers a range of Benedict options built on house-made brioche toasts, topped with sautéed spinach, poached eggs, and hollandaise sauce. Diners can choose between the French Benedict with grilled bacon, Bangkok’s Benedict with pulled chicken tossed in sriracha jam, or the Salmon Benedict with smoked salmon—each offering a distinct flavour profile.

Mango Matcha

On the beverage front, Savorworks experiments with technique as much as taste. The mango matcha is prepared using a “speed matcha” method, moving away from traditional hand-whisking. Infused with real mango and high-quality matcha, the drink is refreshing, slightly earthy, and visually striking.

Haan (Coffee Mixology)

Part of their coffee mixology programme, Haan is a standout. A blend of rich espresso, house-made litchi juice, and yellow lemon syrup, the drink offers a layered flavour profile—sweet, citrusy, and bold all at once.

Tiramisu in Edible Chocolate Cup

Dessert here is as much about presentation as it is about taste. The tiramisu, served in an edible chocolate cup, combines classic flavours with a playful twist, making it a fitting end to the meal.

What sets Savorworks apart is not just the variety on the menu, but the way the space adapts through the day. As evening sets in, the café transforms into an open-format bar, building on its coffee and chocolate expertise to craft cocktails that mirror its culinary philosophy.

In a city that is constantly chasing the new, Savorworks manages to stand out—not by being louder, but by being more thoughtful.
