28 judges transferred as part of Delhi Higher Judicial Service reshuffle

In a reshuffle of the Delhi Higher Judicial Service (DHJS), 28 judges were transferred on Monday.

The Delhi High Court issued a notification transferring the judges.

Special CBI Judge Sushant Changotra, who was hearing cases such as the money laundering case linked to a land deal in Haryana’s Shikohpur involving businessman Robert Vadra, has been transferred to the southwest district courts in Dwarka.

Additional Sessions Judge (ASJ) Shivali Bansal, earlier in the southwest district, has been posted as the new CBI special judge.

Other judges transferred from the Rouse Avenue Courts are Special Judge Dheeraj Mor, Special Judge (PC Act) Chhavi Kapoor and Special Judge (PC Act) Manisha Khurana Kakkar.

The new judges in Rouse Avenue special courts are Divyang Thakur and Satyabrata Panda.

Mohammad Farrukh, Director (Administration), Delhi Judicial Academy, has been transferred as District Judge (Commercial Court), Rohini.

“The court of Special Judge (PC Act) (CBI)-01, Rouse Avenue Court Complex (RACC), earlier presided over by Gaurav Rao, stands abolished,” the high court notification said.

“The Principal District and Sessions Judge shall distribute the cases pending in this court equally amongst the other CBl Courts except courts handling Coal Block cases and the court presided over by Ajay Gupta, Special Judge (PC Act),” it said.
