At least three schools in Delhi received bomb threats on Monday morning, sparking panic and a swift response from law enforcement and emergency teams. According to officials, the threats were reported around 8 a.m. at CRPF Schools located in Prashant Vihar and Dwarka Sector 16, as well as another school in the Chanakyapuri area.

Delhi Police were alerted via PCR calls and responded immediately. Teams were dispatched to each location to secure the premises and ensure the safety of students and staff. “Police teams immediately moved in to check the school premises,” a senior police official said, confirming that emergency protocols were quickly put in place.

Deputy Commissioner of Police (Dwarka) Ankit Singh stated that the Dwarka North police station received a PCR call early Monday about a possible bomb threat at the CRPF School in the area. “The area was promptly sanitised. Local police, sniffer dogs, and bomb disposal squads reached the school and conducted thorough checks,” he said.

So far, no suspicious items have been recovered from any of the schools. Authorities said that precautionary evacuations were carried out in a calm and orderly manner, and the safety of students remained the top priority.

Cyber experts have been brought in to trace the origin of the email through which the threat was allegedly made. “Security has been tightened in and around the school. Nothing suspicious has been found so far,” DCP Singh added.

The incident has raised concerns among parents and school authorities, though officials emphasized that there is no cause for alarm at this stage. Investigations are ongoing, and police are working to identify the sender and determine whether the threats were part of a coordinated hoax or something more serious.
