32-year-old woman’s body found in water tank inside Gautam Buddh University in Greater Noida

Authorities in Greater Noida are investigating the tragic discovery of a 32-year-old woman’s body found in a water tank atop her residence at a university.

The incident, suspected to involve her 33-year-old husband who is currently missing, has sparked an intensive search by law enforcement.

The victim, identified as Kaushal, was found deceased in the cemented water tank located on the roof of the servants’ quarters at Gautam Buddh University. Her husband, Kapil, is reported to be a class-four employee at the university.

The couple, residing with Kapil’s mother, allegedly engaged in a heated argument the night prior to the incident, according to accounts from neighbours.

Upon receiving notification from the PRV control room, police authorities from the Ecotech-I station promptly responded to the scene for investigation.

Witnesses in the vicinity disclosed details of ongoing disputes between the couple, suggesting a tumultuous relationship marked by frequent altercations.

Additional Police Commissioner Shivhari Meena confirmed that both the husband and his mother are currently evading authorities. Dedicated police teams have been mobilised to apprehend the suspects, intensifying efforts to bring them into custody for questioning.

As the investigation progresses, authorities remain committed to pursuing legal actions to ascertain the circumstances surrounding the tragic event.
