At least six people were injured after a group of men allegedly attacked passersby with knives in the Mangolpuri area here on Friday evening, police said.
The attacks were reported from three lanes in Mangolpuri’s L Block.
The injured were taken to the Sanjay Gandhi Memorial Hospital, with two of them later referred to the Safdarjung Hospital, police said.
Police are scanning CCTV footage to identify and apprehend the accused. A preliminary probe suggests that an old enmity might have triggered the attack, while some suspects are believed to be juveniles, police said.
Locals alleged that the attackers also robbed people and said the incident sparked panic in the area.
