Delhi on Wednesday recorded a minimum temperature of 25 degrees Celsius, 2.7 degrees above the season’s normal.
The maximum temperature is expected to settle at 36.8 degrees Celsius.
While Safdarjung, Delhi’s base weather station, recorded a low of 25 degrees Celsius, 2.7 degrees above normal, Palam recorded a minimum of 22.5 degrees Celsius, 0.2 degrees above normal.
Lodhi Road recorded a minimum of 23.8 degrees Celsius, 2.8 degrees above normal; Ridge 20 degrees Celsius, 2.5 degree below normal; and Ayanagar 23.5 degrees Celsius, 1.5 degrees above normal.
Delhi’s air quality remained in the ‘moderate’ category with an AQI of 134 on Wednesday, according to Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) data.
According to the CPCB, an AQI between zero and 50 is considered ‘good’, 51 and 100 ‘satisfactory’, 101 and 200 ‘moderate’, 201 and 300 ‘poor’, 301 and 400 ‘very poor’ and 401 and 500 ‘severe’.
