Value retail chain Baazar Kolkata has appointed actor Kartik Aaryan as its brand ambassador as the company marks its 25th year and expands its network to 250 stores across 13 states.
The company, which began operations in 2002, sells fashion, lifestyle, home and daily utility products across metro cities as well as tier-II and tier-III markets.
Baazar Retail Pvt Ltd said the partnership with Aaryan is aimed at strengthening its connection with consumers as it expands its presence across the country.
“I am delighted to join the Baazar Kolkata family. The brand has earned the trust of millions by making quality fashion and lifestyle products affordable and accessible,” Aaryan said.
He said the company’s growth from eastern India to a national value retail chain was “truly inspiring”.
Abhishek Khemka, Director and CEO of Baazar Retail Pvt Ltd, said the company had grown from a regional retailer to a network of 250 stores based on customer trust.
“Kartik Aaryan represents a new generation that is confident, aspirational and relatable — qualities that mirror the evolving mindset of our customers,” Khemka said.
Umesh Sharma, Marketing Head of Baazar Kolkata, said the association would help the company strengthen its brand presence and engagement with customers.
Baazar Kolkata said it currently operates more than 250 stores spread across over 20 lakh sq ft of retail space in West Bengal, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, Tripura, Assam, Odisha, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Uttarakhand.
The company has also received the Most Successful Value Retailer in East India award at the Images Retail Awards multiple times.
