Breaking! Vice President Dhankhar admitted to AIIMS

Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar was admitted to AIIMS early on Sunday after experiencing uneasiness and chest pain, according to sources.

The 73-year-old was taken to the hospital at around 2 am.

He was admitted to the Critical Care Unit (CCU) under Dr Rajiv Narang, the Head of Cardiology at AIIMS.

Dhankhar is stable and under observation, with a team of doctors monitoring his condition, a source said.

Union Health Minister J P Nadda visited AIIMS to enquire about Dhankhar’s condition.
