The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecasted a generally cloudy sky with very light rainfall and thunderstorm in the national capital on Friday.
According to the IMD, the maximum temperature in Delhi is expected to be around 37 degrees Celsius.
The minimum temperature recorded in the city was 22.9 degrees Celsius. The relative humidity level in Delhi was recorded at 62 per cent at around 8.30 am.
Data from the System of Air Quality and Weather Forecasting And Research (SAFAR) showed that the air quality index (AQI) of Delhi was in the moderate category at 132 around 9.00 am.
An AQI in the range of zero to 50 is considered good, while 51 to 100 is considered satisfactory, 101 to 200 is moderate, 201 to 300 is poor, 301 to 400 is very poor, and 401 to 500 is severe. (With inputs from PTI)
