The National Testing Agency (NTA) has declared the results of the Common University Entrance Test for Undergraduate courses (CUET-UG) 2025 today, Friday, July 4. Students who appeared for the exam can access their scorecards on the official website: cuet.nta.nic.in. The result is crucial for the upcoming centralised counselling process for admission to various undergraduate programmes across participating universities.

The announcement came after the NTA released the final answer key for the CUET-UG on July 1. The result date had earlier been confirmed by the agency through its official handle on X (formerly Twitter).

To check their results, candidates must log in using their application number and date of birth. Once on the CUET portal, they should click on the ‘CUET UG 2025 Scorecard/Result download’ link on the homepage, enter their login credentials, and download the scorecard for future reference during counselling.

The entrance exam was conducted in computer-based test (CBT) mode between May 13 and June 3, 2025. It was held in 13 languages and covered 23 domain-specific subjects along with a general test. The paper consisted of multiple-choice questions (MCQs), with five marks awarded for each correct answer and a deduction of one mark for each incorrect response.

Additionally, re-tests were organised on June 2 and June 4 for candidates who faced disruptions during their original test dates on May 13 and 16.

The provisional answer key was released on June 17, and candidates were given the option to challenge it until June 20 by paying a non-refundable fee of Rs 200 per question. The NTA clarified that any valid challenges were reviewed by subject experts, and if accepted, necessary corrections were incorporated into the final results.

The agency has also reiterated that there will be no further re-evaluation or re-checking of the results. “No correspondence in this regard will be entertained,” NTA stated.
