Yuvraj takes Golden Eagle to thumping win

All-round performance by right-handed batsman Yuvraj Singh (104 and 1/21), Shiv Puri’s 3/28 and Anirudh Sharma’s 2/30 helped Golden Eagle Club crush Indo Club by nine wickets at the Roshanara Club grounds in an Elite 2 group game.

Brief scores: Indo Club 158/8 in 20 overs (Rasheed Nasim 47, Shiv Puri 3/28, Anirudh Sharma 2/30) lost to Golden Eagle 159/1 in 18 overs (Yuvraj Singh 104 not out, Akshay Singh 43) by nine wickets.

Mayank Malhotra drives Bright Club to big win

Delhi under-19 left-arm spinner Mayank Malhotra’s all-round show (72 and 4/14), Vineet Kumar’s 52 and Vikram Mehra’s 2/28 helped Bright Club thrash Golden Hawks Club by eight wickets at RSC ground in an Elite 3 group game.

Brief scores: Golden Hawks 149 all out in 19 overs (Akash Angariya 37, Mayank Malhotra 4/14, Vikram Mehra 2/28) lost to Bright Club 150/2 in 17 overs (Mayank Malhotra 72, Vineet Kumar 52, Vaibhav Sharma 1/22) by eight wickets.

Bank of India thrash Canara Bank

Off-spinner Pradeep Meena’s 3/18 and Vishal Yadav’s 3/22 helped Bank of India beat Canara Bank by eight wickets in a Super Plate 1 group game at RSC ground.

Brief scores: Canara Bank 91 all out in 17 overs (Pradeep Meena 3/18, Vishal Yadav 3/22) lost to Bank of India 93/2 in eight overs (Krishan Sharma 31, Sandeep Nagpal 1/08) by eight wickets.

PMG score convincing win over Meakins

All-round performance by right-handed batsman Kush Nagpal (68 not out and 2/19), Pradeep Malik’s 3/26 as well as Vivek Yadav’s 2/28 helped PMG beat Mohan Meakins by seven wickets at the Talent Hunt Ground in a Premier 2 group game.

Brief scores: Mohan Meakins 152/7 in 20 overs (Hardik Sharma 65, Pradeep Malik 3/26, Kush Nagpal 2/19, Vivek Yadav 2/28) lost to PMG 153/3 in 19 overs (Kush Nagpal 68 not out, Pradeep Malik 26, Dhruv Das 1/22) by seven wickets.

Mishra Sports triumph

Half-centuries by left-handed batsman Rishabh Rana (84), Ronak Jain (66 runs), a three-wicket haul by Vishal Kumar (3/28) and Vishnu Singh’s 2/28 helped Mishra Sports Club beat Pusa Youngsters by 37 runs at MCG 2 Ground in an Elite 3 group game.

Brief scores: Mishra Sports 184/4 in 20 overs (Rishabh Rana 84, Ronak Jain 66, Ayush Singh 3/34) beat Pusa Youngsters 147 all out in 20 overs (Abheek KV Arora 44, Vishal Kumar 3/28, Vishnu Singh 2/28) by 37 runs.

Sachin powers Central Secretariat

All-round performance by right-handed batsman Sachin Kumar (50 not out and 1/17) and Ankit Saini’s 30 helped Central Secretariat defeat Kishan Ganj Colts by eight wickets at the Central Secretariat ground in an Elite 2 group game.

Brief scores: Kishan Ganj Colts 100/5 in 20 overs (Krishna Aggarwal 50, Gaurav Saroha 1/15, Sachin Kumar 1/17) lost to Central Secretariat 103/2 in seven overs (Sachin Kumar 50 not out, Ankit Saini 30, Krishna Aggarwal 1/18, Sadiq 1/19) by eight wickets.
