Delhi CM asks officials to ensure smooth conduct of two international summits

Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta on Monday directed the officials to ensure the smooth conduct of the two international summits slated to be held later this month.

Gupta headed a meeting at the Delhi Secretariat regarding the preparations for the Fourth India-Africa Forum Summit (IAFS-IV) and the 1st International Big Cat Alliance Summit, scheduled to be organised from May 28 to June 1.

The national capital will host the fourth India-Africa Forum Summit on May 31 in collaboration with the African Union Commission.

“Officials were directed in the meeting to ensure all arrangements are at the highest level. Special emphasis was placed on a 24×7 control room, nodal officers and real-time monitoring,” the chief minister took to X.

Instructions were also given to ensure better management of cleanliness and public facilities at markets and tourist sites, she added.
