
A fire broke out at a restaurant in Rohini area of northwest Delhi on Monday, prompting a swift response from the fire department, an official of the Delhi Fire Service said.
The blaze erupted at a BTW restaurant in Rohini Sector 11. All people present inside the restaurant managed to evacuate safely before the situation escalated, and no injuries have been reported, an official said.
According to the DFS, a call regarding the incident was received at around 11.05 am, following which five fire tenders were rushed to the scene.
Firefighters brought the blaze under control after efforts to contain it and prevent it from spreading to nearby establishments. The exact cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained, the officer said.
