This was accompanied by moderate to severe thunderstorms, lightning, and gusty winds up to 15 to 25 kmph”, he said.

Giving the details, Jenamani informed, “Rainfall measurements from 8:30 pm on June 27 to 8:30 am on June 28 for IMD’s main stations in Delhi were as follows: Safdarjung recorded 228.1 mm (8.98 inches), Lodhi Road (Mausam Bhavan) 192.8 mm (7.6 inches), Ridge 150.4 mm (5.9 inches), Palam 106.6 mm (4.2 inches), and Ayanagar 66.3 mm (2.6 inches).
