A police officer reported that a PCR call was received at 6:35 am about a man lying near the Geeta Colony flyover.

A forensic team conducted an examination of the scene to gather evidence.
The police are working to establish the man’s identity and determine the circumstances of his death. CCTV footage from the vicinity is being reviewed, and a murder case has been registered, the officer added.
In a separate incident, a 64-year-old man was reportedly stabbed to death in the Panchsheel Park area of South Delhi, police confirmed on November 27. Authorities received an emergency call at 9:25 am on Monday from a man who said he found his father unconscious and lying in a pool of blood. Upon reaching the scene, officers identified the victim as Rohit Kumar.
A murder case has been registered by the Malviya Nagar police station, and investigations are ongoing. Police are exploring all possible leads to uncover the circumstances of the crime. The deceased lived with his younger son in Panchsheel Park. The incident came to light when a car cleaner knocked on Kumar’s room seeking keys but received no response. When Kumar’s son, who lived in the next room, opened the door, he found his father lying on the floor. Authorities noted that nothing was stolen from the room.
A forensic team has inspected the location and found blood stains and footprints on the floor.
