
Delhi recorded a minimum temperature of 28.6 degrees Celsius on Thursday morning, which is 0.7 degrees above the season’s average, according to the India Meteorological Department (IMD).
The relative humidity was 74 per cent at 8.30 AM.
The IMD has predicted a generally cloudy sky with moderate rainfall during the day. The maximum temperature is expected to settle around 34 degrees Celsius.
No heat wave conditions are expected to persist in Delhi today. From June 27 onwards, the region will witness a generally cloudy sky with very light to light rain/thunderstorm/lightning, according to the India Meteorological Department (IMD).
According to data from the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB), Delhi’s Air Quality Index (AQI) stood at 115 at 9 am, placing it in the ‘moderate’ category.
An AQI between 0–50 is considered ‘good’, 51–100 ‘satisfactory’, 101–200 ‘moderate’, 201–300 ‘poor’, 301–400 ‘very poor’, and 401–500 ‘severe’.

On Wednesday, the city recorded a maximum temperature of 34.9 degrees Celsius, which was 2.3 degrees below normal. The minimum temperature stood at 29.6 degrees Celsius, 1.7 degrees above the season’s average, the IMD said.
Humidity levels ranged between 88 per cent in the morning and 74 per cent in the evening.
