
The Delhi Police will enforce restrictions in parts of Delhi on Saturday for the Run for Inclusion event, organized by Special Olympic Bharat, as well as for a cycling event from Saturday through Tuesday.
In an advisory issued on Thursday, the police announced that the Run for Inclusion, involving participants with and without intellectual disabilities, would take place from 7:00 AM to 10:00 AM on Saturday.
The event will commence at the Civil Services/NDMC Officers’ Club, proceed through Panchsheel Marg via Vinay Marg, Niti Marg, and Satya Marg, and conclude back at the Civil Services/NDMC Officers’ Club.
According to the advisory, approximately 10,000 participants are expected for the event.
Traffic on Panchsheel Marg towards the Niti-Panchsheel Marg roundabout will be restricted.
However, traffic on Satya Marg towards the Niti Marg-Satya Marg roundabout and Africa Avenue Marg towards Yaswant Palace will remain open.
Alternative routes via Kautilya Marg and Shanti Path will be available.
In a separate advisory, the police announced special traffic arrangements for the cycling events of the 73rd All India Police Athletic Cluster Championship 2024-2025, taking place from Saturday to Tuesday in Rohini Sector-29.
A large turnout is expected, which may impact traffic on surrounding roads.
To facilitate smooth traffic flow, parking or halting of vehicles will be prohibited along Tughlak Road (from Khera Kurd Cut to the CNG pump in Rohini Sector-27) and BR Ambedkar Marg (from Mahadev Chowk to the T-Point on Tughlak Road), in both carriageways in Rohini Sector-28/29.
Vehicles parked along these routes will be towed.

Access will be blocked on Utsav Marg connecting with BR Ambedkar Marg, Khera Khurd Road connecting with Tughlak Road, Khera Kalan Road connecting with Tughlak Road, Tughlak Road near the Rohini Sector-27 CNG pump, and BR Ambedkar Road at Mahadev Chowk.
Traffic diversions will occur at Mahadev Chowk, Khera Khurd Yamuna Canal, Khera Kalan Yamuna Canal, and Tughlak Road in Rohini Sector-27, the advisory stated.
