
Delhi recorded a minimum temperature of 28.3 degrees Celsius on Sunday, one notch above the seasonal average, according to the India Meteorological Department.
The weather office has forecast partly cloudy sky for the day, with the maximum temperature expected to reach around 38 degrees Celsius.
Relative humidity was recorded at 64 per cent at 8.30 am.
The air quality slipped to ‘poor’ at 9 am, with an AQI reading of 235, Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) data showed. The AQI was ‘moderate’ on Saturday at 140.
According to the CPCB, an AQI between zero and 50 is considered ‘good’, 51 and 100 ‘satisfactory’, 101 and 200 ‘moderate’, 201 and 300 ‘poor’, 301 and 400 ‘very poor’, and 401 and 500 ‘severe’.
