
Delhi recorded a minimum temperature of 16.8 degrees Celsius on Monday, according to the India Meteorological Department (IMD).
The humidity levels were 74 per cent at 8.30 AM.
The IMD said the maximum temperature is expected to settle around 32 degrees Celsius.
Delhi’s Air Quality Index (AQI) stood at 99, in the ‘satisfactory’ category for the third straight day, according to the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB).
The maximum temperature in Delhi on Sunday was 31 degrees Celsius, three notches above the seasonal average, according to the India Meteorological Department (IMD).
The minimum temperature was recorded at 18 degrees Celsius, with humidity levels fluctuating between 60 per cent and 42 per cent.

On Saturday, Delhi breathed its cleanest air for any day between January 1 and March 15 in the last three years with the AQI dropping to 85.
An AQI between 0 and 50 is considered ‘good’, 51-100 ‘satisfactory’, 101-200 ‘moderate’, 201-300 ‘poor’, 301-400 ‘very poor’ and 401-500 ‘severe’.
According to the data, Delhi’s temperature is expected to rise significantly this week. On March 20, the maximum temperature is expected to reach 37 degrees Celsius. It will remain 35 degrees Celsius on March 21 and 22. Strong surface winds are predicted for the national capital on March 18, while a partly cloudy sky is expected on March 19 and 20.
On Tuesday, Delhi is expected to experience strong surface winds during the daytime. The minimum and maximum temperatures are expected to be 17 degrees Celsius and 33 degrees Celsius, respectively.
