Delhi: Over 60 per cent of Delhi’s total electorate exercised their voting rights in the state elections on Wednesday, as per the latest figures on the Election Commission’s Voter Turnout App, last updated at 11:30 PM.
The final voter turnout is yet to be declared, with figures still being updated on the app.
Polling across all 70 constituencies commenced at 7 AM and concluded at 6 PM. Delhi has approximately 1.56 crore eligible voters.
As of 11:30 PM, the recorded voter turnout stood at 60.44 per cent.
The Northeast district registered the highest turnout at 66.25 per cent, while the Southeast district recorded the lowest at 56.16 per cent.
Among individual constituencies, Mustafabad had the highest participation with 69 per cent, whereas Mehrauli saw the lowest at 53.04 per cent.
Shahdara recorded a turnout of 63.94 per cent, Southwest 61.09 per cent, Northwest 60.70 per cent, North Delhi 59.55 per cent, Central 59.09 percent, and Southeast 56.26 percent, as per the app’s data.
Voting was conducted at 13,766 polling stations across Delhi’s 70 constituencies, determining the fate of 699 candidates.

In comparison, the national capital had witnessed a 62.59 per cent turnout in the 2020 elections, whereas the 2024 Lok Sabha elections saw a lower participation rate of 56 per cent.
