Delhi recorded a minimum temperature of 23.2°C on Monday morning, which is 1.5 degrees below the season’s average, bringing some early morning relief to residents.

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast thunderstorms accompanied by rain later in the day, with the maximum temperature expected to reach around 34°C.

Humidity levels stood at 63% at 8:30 am, adding a slight stickiness to the otherwise pleasant morning.

The city’s air quality remained in the “moderate” category, with an Air Quality Index (AQI) of 137, according to data from the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB). As per CPCB standards, an AQI between 101 and 200 is considered moderate, while lower levels indicate better air quality.

On Sunday, Delhi had recorded a high of 36°C—3.3 degrees above the seasonal norm—while the minimum settled at 24.2°C. Humidity fluctuated between 75% and 41% throughout the day.
