The Delhi Traffic Police has issued an advisory ahead of the Baisakhi celebrations at Guruji ka Ashram (Bade Mandir), providing commuters with necessary information regarding traffic regulations in specific areas of the city.

In a recent announcement on X platform, the traffic police stated, “Due to the Baisakhi celebrations at Guru Ji ka Ashram (Bade Mandir) scheduled for April 13, 2024, traffic regulations will be enforced.”

It was mentioned, “The movement of heavy and medium commercial vehicles will be restricted on Bhatti Mines Road, Bandh Road, Chhatarpur Road, and Sant Shri Nagpal Marg.”

The advisory assured that “all emergency vehicles will be given priority in reaching their destinations.”

However, it recommended emergency vehicles to utilize Mehrauli-Gurugram Road instead of Dera Road and Mandi Road.

The Baisakhi celebrations are anticipated to take place at Guruji Ka Ashram, Bhatti Mines Road, and Mehrauli, with an expected gathering of 55,000 to 60,000 devotees from Delhi-NCR and neighboring states.

The traffic police has urged commuters to opt for public transportation, especially metro services.

Additionally, the public is advised to allocate sufficient time for their journeys along the aforementioned roads and intersections.

“Please avoid these routes and plan your travel accordingly,” emphasized the advisory.
