The Delhi Police issued a traffic advisory on Sunday ahead of the scheduled farmers’ protest, informing commuters about traffic constraints at three entry points to the national capital.

Various farmer groups, primarily from Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, and Punjab, have announced a march on February 13 to advocate for a law ensuring Minimum Support Price (MSP) for their agricultural produce, a condition they had insisted on when ending their protest in 2021.

As per the advisory, traffic restrictions and diversions will be in place starting Monday for commercial vehicles.

At Singhu Border, traffic restrictions and diversions will commence on Monday for commercial vehicles, followed by all vehicle types from Tuesday, the advisory mentioned.

For interstate buses heading towards Sonipat, Panipat, Karnal, etc., via NH-44, the advised route is from ISBT to Majnu Ka Tilla, then to Signature Bridge, Khajuri Chowk, Loni Border, and finally to KMP via Khekra.

Heavy Goods Vehicles (HGVs) intending to travel towards Sonipat, Panipat, Karnal, etc., via NH-44 are recommended to take exit number-2 on NH-44 (DSIIDC) intersection, proceeding to Harish Chander Hospital crossing, Bawana road crossing, Bawana Chowk, Bawana-Auchandi Road, and reaching Auchandi Border to KMP via Saidpur chowki.

For vehicles heading towards Bahadurgarh, Rohtak, etc., alternative routes are suggested, directing them to Outer Ring Road from Mukarba Chowk to Madhuban Chowk, Bhagwan Mahavir Road, Rithala, Pansali Chowk, Helipad, UER-II, Kanjhawala Road, Karala T-Point, Kanjhawala Chowk, Jaunti Village, Jaunti Border/Nizampur Border, and entering Haryana village Bamnoli, possibly further via Nahra-Nahari road to Bahadurgarh road.

Traffic from Delhi bound for Ghaziabad through Gazipur border may opt for Pushta Road in front of Akshardham temple, Patparganj Road/Mother Dairy road, or Chaudhary Charan Singh Marg ISBT Anand Vihar, exiting from Maharajpur or Apsara border in UP Ghaziabad.

Heavy/commercial vehicles heading towards Bahadurgarh, Rohtak, etc., via Rohtak Road are advised to utilize Najafgarh Nangloi Road from Nangloi Chowk to enter Haryana via Najafgarh Jharoda Border.

Vehicles intending to proceed towards Bahadurgarh, Rohtak, etc., via Rohtak Road are suggested to take a left turn from PVC red light to Jharoda Nala Crossing, then a right turn to Najafgarh Bahadurgarh Road towards Bahadurgarh.

Motorists traveling from Punjabi Bagh are advised to turn left from Peeragarhi Chowk up to Najafgarh Road, then turn right at Uttam Nagar Chowk, Dwarka Mor, Tura Mandi, Najafgarh Firni Road, turn left at Chhawla Stand, right at Dhansa Stand, right at Bahadurgarh Stand, left at Najafgarh Bahadurgarh Road, Jharoda Village, Jharoda Border, and proceed towards Bahadurgarh (HR).
