Sandhu, who participated in Delhi Development Authority’s (DDA) ‘Delhi Heritage Week’ at Mehrauli Archaeological Park, said that the best technologies from around will be deployed in the national capital for the betterment of the city.
“Mehrauli Park has been restored by DDA as part of its redevelopment project. We want people to come and see ‘ease of living’ efforts by the DDA,” Sandhu said.
In a post on X, he termed the evening at the park “magical” and the event, Ruh-e-Dilli, a soulful tribute to Delhi’s rich cultural and architectural heritage.
“A new system will be adopted in Delhi to eliminate the problem of illegal roadside parking. Additionally, modern technology will be used for better management of street lights and traffic in the capital. Extra steps will be taken to enhance women’s safety in Delhi,” Sandhu said.
“The general public wants that if a road is in poor condition, it should be repaired immediately,” he added.
Sandhu said the cleaning of the Yamuna River is also extremely important, and work is continuously being done on this.
