Elan Group marks International Yoga Day with wellness event at Gurugram mall

Elan Group celebrated International Yoga Day on Sunday with a day-long wellness event, Soulset, at Elan Miracle Mall in Sector 84, bringing together yoga enthusiasts, fitness advocates and community members for activities focused on health and well-being.

The event featured a yoga session led by actor and model Elnaaz Norouzi and included live music performances, healthy food experiences and wellness-focused pop-ups. Organised as part of Elan Group’s lifestyle and community engagement initiative, the programme aimed to promote mindfulness, physical fitness and social interaction.

Held in the open-air premises of the mall, the event began in the morning and continued through the day, offering participants a range of experiences centred on movement, wellness and community participation.

International Yoga Day, observed annually on June 21, was first proposed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the United Nations in 2014 and has since grown into a global celebration highlighting yoga’s physical, mental and spiritual benefits.

Speaking at the event, Norouzi emphasised the importance of making time for personal well-being in an increasingly fast-paced world.

“In today’s fast-paced world, finding time to focus on personal well-being has become more important than ever. What I appreciated about Soulset was that it gave people an opportunity to pause, step outdoors and enjoy a few hours centred around health, movement and shared experiences,” she said.

Vidhi Attri, Head of Marketing at Elan Group, said the company sought to mark the occasion through an event that encouraged community participation and promoted healthy lifestyles.

“International Yoga Day celebrates a practice that continues to inspire millions across the world to lead healthier and more balanced lives. Soulset was envisioned as an experience that combines movement, mindfulness and community engagement,” she said.

The event was managed by Souldout and supported by several partners from the wellness, fitness and lifestyle sectors, including Wiselife, Vault by Virat Kohli, Sirona, Whole The Truth, Fast&Up and Red FM 93.5.
