Delhi Lt Governor V K Saxena has ordered the director general of prisons to provide a detailed report regarding the allegations made by the Aam Aadmi Party concerning Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s access to insulin in Tihar jail.

This directive follows concerns raised by Delhi Cabinet minister Atishi regarding the provision of home-cooked food and insulin to Kejriwal in jail, which the prison authorities have denied.

The Raj Niwas emphasised Saxena’s serious concerns over the allegations and assured that no compromise would be made regarding the CM’s health.

Atishi reiterated claims that Kejriwal’s requests for insulin have been denied and that his health is deteriorating due to lack of medication. (With inputs from PTI)
