Major reshuffle in Delhi Police: 34 IPS, DANIPS officers transferred

New Delhi, Jun 4 (PTI) Delhi government on Thursday ordered a major reshuffle in the Delhi Police, transferring and posting several IPS and DANIPS officers with immediate effect.

According to an order issued by the Home Department, IPS officer Sharad Bhaskar Darade, who was serving as Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) West, has been posted as DCP Headquarters-III.

V Hareshwar Swami, earlier DCP Outer North, will take over as DCP West.

Jimmy Chiram, who was DCP Headquarters-III, has been appointed as DCP Traffic with additional charge of DCP SPUNER, while Rahool Alwal has been transferred from the Anti-Narcotics Task Force (ANTF) to DCP North-East.

Among other IPS officers, Shobhit D Saksena has been posted as DCP Outer-North, Niharika Bhattas as Additional DCP-I North, and Neha Yadav as DCP PMMC with additional charge of DCP SPUWAC.

Jitendra Mani, who was DCP Supreme Court Security, has been posted as DCP Security, while Aishwarya Sharma has been transferred from Additional DCP-I South-East to DCP Licensing. Anyesh Roy, who was heading the IFSO unit with additional charge of Licensing, will continue as DCP IFSO.

The order also posts Isha Singh as DCP Welfare, Ravinandan B M as Additional DCP-I North-West, Vikas Meena as Additional DCP-I Dwarka, and Sulekha as DCP Security.

Among the DANIPS (Delhi, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Lakshadweep, Daman and Diu and Dadra and Nagar Haveli Police Service) officers, Deepak Yadav has been posted as DCP 4th Battalion DAP; Satish Kumar as Additional DCP-I Rohini; and Chandra Kumar Singh as DCP Crime.

Alok Kumar Singh has been transferred as DCP R P Bhawan, while Abhishek Kumar, who has recently joined the force, has been posted as Additional DCP-II South-West.

Several mid-level officers were also transferred.

Ashok Kumar has been posted as DCP NAV, Manasvi Jain as Additional DCP-II South, Gaurav Gupta as DCP ANTF, and Mayank Bansal as DCP Communication.

Further, Vipul Anekant has been posted as Additional DCP-II East; Dabhi Anand Dinesh Bhai as DCP Metro; Prakshay Kumar Singh as Additional DCP-II Outer North; and Ishan Bhardwaj as DCP Security.

Among other transfers, Ajay Kumar has been posted as Additional DCP-II North-West; Ridhima Seth as Additional DCP with charge of SPUWAC; Abhishek Gupta as Additional DCP-II West; Pankaj Sood as DCP Supreme Court Security (Current Duty Charge); Arvind Kumar as Additional DCP-II North-East (Current Duty Charge); and Ranbir Singh as DCP Traffic (Current Duty Charge).
