Man dies after falling from rooftop in east Delhi

A 30-year-old man died after falling from the rooftop of a building in Gandhi Nagar area of east Delhi on Sunday morning, police said.

Police received a call at 5:20 am informing them that a man was lying on the road in an unclothed condition and was bleeding from his head, they said.

A team from the Gandhi Nagar police station, along with crime and forensic teams, reached the spot and initiated an investigation.

The deceased was identified as Deepak, a resident of Kishanganj Pipla in Bihar, a police officer said.

Police are investigating whether Deepak fell from the rooftop on his own or was pushed by someone. The exact circumstances leading to his death are yet to be ascertained, he said.
