A young man in his mid-twenties was found dead on the rooftop of a shop here on Saturday, an official statement said.
Reports of a body immersed in a pool of blood in north Delhi’s Chandani Chowk reached the Kotwali police station around 12:15 pm, a senior police officer said.
Further investigation revealed multiple injuries on the victim’s neck and head, seemingly inflicted by stones and a sharp implement.
“An FIR has been filed under section 302 (murder), and the investigation is underway,” the officer said. (With inputs from PTI)
