A shocking incident in Noida Sector 16 has left the city in uproar after a Thar driver, driving in the wrong lane, collided with multiple vehicles. The entire event was captured on a shop’s CCTV camera and quickly went viral on social media, drawing widespread criticism.

Watch video:

The incident began when the Thar driver switched lanes to avoid a traffic jam at a red light. In an attempt to bypass the jam, the driver entered the wrong lane, causing panic among other motorists. A large crowd was seen running behind the vehicle, suggesting that other drivers might have been involved or affected by the chaos.

While trying to escape, the Thar hit a grey Maruti Swift driving in the correct lane. The situation worsened as the driver lost control and rammed into several parked two-wheelers. One scooter owner had to abandon his vehicle to avoid being hit, but the driver showed no regard for safety and struck the scooter regardless.

The driver fled the scene immediately after the incident, leaving behind a trail of damage and confusion. The CCTV footage has sparked outrage on social media, with netizens condemning the reckless behaviour and calling for strict action against the driver. Many are urging the police to take swift action and hold the driver accountable for endangering lives and damaging property.

The incident has raised serious concerns about road safety and the need for stricter enforcement of traffic laws in the city.

Another X user, Kuldeep Munshi, wrote, “He should be immediately arrested, his license revoked if any by his name and put into jail, severe punishment for his acts …I hope the police must have arrested him by now”.

Another user Vishamini criticized the law and order situation in the state saying that this is the dark reality of UP and the law situation is still not under control.
