
A 35-year-old man was killed, while three people were injured after two motorcycles collided near the Deen Dayal Upadhyay Park in central Delhi, police said on Monday.
The accident took place around 10:10 pm on Sunday. According to police, the two motorcycles were involved in a collision near the park. The injured riders were rushed to the Lok Nayak Jai Prakash (LNJP) Hospital, where one of them, Shivan, was declared brought dead by doctors.
Three others sustained injuries in the accident and are undergoing treatment, police said. A case has been registered at the IP Estate police station for rash and negligent driving and causing death by negligence, officials said.
Police teams inspected the accident spot and collected evidence. Both the motorcycles involved in the collision have been seized for forensic and mechanical examinations.
