In a tragic incident on Tuesday morning, two vehicles collided head-on near Salim Garh road in north Delhi, resulting in death of a 40-year-old man and injuries to four others, police said.

The deceased individual has been identified as Gaurav Malhotra.

Preliminary investigations indicate that a speeding car initially struck a divider and subsequently collided with another car approaching from the opposite direction at 1:30 am, a senior police officer said.

One of the injured individuals is in critical condition.
