Station-wise data showed Palam recorded a minimum temperature of 21.3 degrees Celsius, 4.3 notches below normal, while Lodhi Road logged 21.8 degrees Celsius, 1.2 notches below normal.
The Ridge station recorded a minimum of 20.4 degrees Celsius, 4.6 notches below normal, while Ayanagar registered 21.4 degrees Celsius, 2.2 notches below normal.
The maximum temperature is expected to settle around 40 degrees Celsius.
On the air quality front, Delhi’s Air Quality Index (AQI) was recorded in the ‘moderate’ category at 128 at 9 am.
According to the Central Pollution Control Board’s (CPCB) SAMEER app, 41 monitoring stations were in the ‘moderate’ category, while three stations were in the ‘satisfactory’ category.
As per CPCB norms, an AQI between 0 and 50 is considered ‘good’, 51 to 100 ‘satisfactory’, 101 to 200 ‘moderate’, 201 to 300 ‘poor’, 301 to 400 ‘very poor’, and 401 to 500 ‘severe’.
