Delhi Chief Minister and AAP leader, Arvind Kejriwal, called upon women to support the upcoming Lok Sabha elections while unveiling plans for a scheme offering Rs 1,000 monthly. Finance Minister Atishi had earlier announced this initiative during the presentation of the 2024-25 Delhi budget in the assembly.
This scheme, tailored for non-income tax paying women over 18, aims to benefit approximately 50 lakh women in Delhi once implemented after the elections, slated for April-May.
Taking to social media, Kejriwal expressed gratitude for the overwhelming response to the Mukhya Mantri Mahila Samman Yojna announcement, assuring that registration details for the scheme will be available soon.
Acknowledging the pivotal role women play in his political journey, Kejriwal emphasized that their blessings have thwarted opposition efforts. Despite challenges, he remains committed to empowering women and their families, lamenting potential hurdles from political adversaries.
With the elections looming, Kejriwal urged women to extend their support and rally their families behind his cause, vowing to continue serving them diligently.
